Teacher: Dave Unkefer
Teacher Dave is an MSU Education Graduate who served with Pastor Dave (Friendship House Vice President) on a local charitable community organization that brought him first to Martin Luther Chapel and then to the Friendship House since 1998 as a teacher and mentor.
Dave stays active by enjoying many outdoor sporting activities and spending time with family and friends.
Description:
Each week a portion of the class will be dedicated to interjecting snippets of who is this person named Jesus Christ, and how he became such a focus of our faith. My job will be to find a passage, story, or event that shows what made Jesus exceptional!

Materials used for the class will be a variety of the following:
- Local and National publications ranging from the Lansing City Pulse and Lansing State Journal to the New York Times and Elizabeth Claire’s Easy English News.
- Once/Twice a month a selection from “The Topic Envelope”
- A monthly random assortment of descriptive objects
- Once every other week spending 20-30 minutes learning English Idioms
Time: Thursday at 6:00 -7:30 PM
In-person only. This class meets in Fireside Room or lower level round table area at Martin Luther Chapel (444 Abbot Road, East Lansing, Michigan 48823).
