Teacher: Alex
Alex is a Ph.D. student in the Second Language Studies program at MSU. She earned her MA in TESOL from MSU in spring 2025, and she has been in education for almost 10 years. She has taught elementary school, adult ESL classes, Hebrew, and undergraduate courses abroad (Germany) and in the U.S. (Detroit, Chicago, and Lansing). She is excited to join Friendship House this summer.
Description:
I have lived in many different states and visited almost all of them so we will talk about different regions and cultures in America (the South, West Coast, East Coast, etc.) and compare them to the culture in the Midwest and do some comparisons of the students’ home cultures.
Time: Thursday at 11:30- 1:00 PM
