Teacher Jan has a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and has taught English in Russia and China. She is a former parochial school teacher and principal and is currently a member of the Friendship House Board of Directors.

In this class, we will read and discuss some of the parables of Jesus as recorded in the Bible. Parables are stories that teach a valuable moral or spiritual life lesson. You may have heard of The Parable of the Great Banquet, and/or The Parable of the Lost Son.  I hope you can join us!
