Practice English with TV series Emily in Paris

I am a native of South Korea and married Nick, an American attending MSU. I have taught English to Internationals, from conversational English to TOEFL, for over ten years. I like to practice English together.

Description:

We will practice English by watching the TV series Emily in Paris and suggesting answering the questions related to each episode. We will read all the scripts in the meeting and practice vocabulary and expressions. I recommend these principles below for improving listening skills.

Watch the episode without subtitles more than twice. e.g., I watch it on Mon.Tue.Wed without subtitles.
I’d like you to watch it one more time with the subtitles. e.g., I watch it on Thu. with subtitles.
Please remember to try imitating their pronunciation and intonation.
Third, I’d like you to watch it again after our Friday meeting at least twice without subtitles and with subtitles. e.g., I watch it on Sat. Sun. whenever I have time.

All English levels are welcome.

To qualify, you must be a Friendship House MSU community member and register for the summer semester.
