Grammar and Writing Practice: Irregular Verbs

Jennifer Garmon taught high school English for over a decade and currently works with elementary school students in grades 2 – 5. She has taught a variety of classes at Friendship House that focus on grammar and creative writing, and she enjoys being an English conversation partner with a Friendship House student who is now back home in Colombia. Jen is a wife, a mother of two active and curious children, and a school librarian.

This course addresses common problem areas in English grammar — particularly the conjugation of irregular verbs — and offers opportunities for practice. Each class will include listening, speaking, reading, and writing, in a caring and encouraging environment.
