Book Club

Teacher Laura leads this Book Club. She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and is an adjunct instructor at MSU’s English Language Center.

Let’s read a book together!  If you would like to improve your English reading and conversation skills or just want to read something new and discuss it with friends, this is the class for you!

How important is your physical appearance?  Are you satisfied with the way you look or do you wish you could change some things? The first book we will discuss is Love Beyond Looks by Kasey Shuler.  It is a 5-week study on body image.  It will encourage us to be satisfied with our appearance and will teach us to appreciate the unique way in which God created each of us.

The introduction to this class will be on October 13.  A copy of the book will be available for you to look at.

There will be a $4 fee for this class to help pay for the book. If you would like to join the class, you must register(click here) so that we will know how many books to order.

There will be no class on October 20 or November 24.
