Friendship House helps MSU Internationals and their families with their transition to learning English as a second language.
Students
Friendship House MSU exists to serve MSU International students, scholars, graduate students, faculty and accompanying family members. We average 300 International students per year with at least 25 different nations represented in our classrooms.
A general profile of our International students would include the following:
Tenures range from 1 year (visiting scholars) to 5 years (PhD students and post-doctoral scholars) Students having Master’s degrees, or higher, from their home countries. At least a low-intermediate (often higher) level of English proficiency is common among our students.
