E-Talk: English Cultural Conversations

Kevin has a Master’s degree in Economics and Bible, and has spent 5 years teaching English in China and Taiwan. He has also assisted with conversational English classes at MSU through Go Connect for two years, and is excited to join the Friendship House team. Outside of teaching, Kevin enjoys time with his wife Angela and their 5 children aged 12-21, and is actively involved in teaching/tutoring and refugee support work in Lansing.

In “E-Talk: Cultural Conversations”, we’ll practice talking about everyday topics in a relaxed way. We’ll play games and do activities to help you feel more confident speaking and listening in English. We’ll also explore different parts of US culture and compare them to your country’s. This class is a great place to make new friends, share your thoughts, and learn interesting things about America. Join us for a fun and interactive class where you can share your thoughts and ideas!
