Our next Friendship House field trip is planned and ready for you to sign up and join us! We will go to Holland, MI.
In 1846, 60 people from the Netherlands arrived on the shores of Lake Michigan and nearby Lake Macatawa to settle into their new homeland naming it Holland. We will be going there to see the sites and learn about its history and culture. The places on our itinerary include Nelis’ Windmill Village, Centennial Park, downtown Holland, and Holland State Park on Lake Michigan. You can even take a swim if you like!

When: Thursday, August 5. We will meet at the Friendship House at 8:30 A.M. We plan to return home by P.M.
Cost:
- Nelis’ Windmill Village – $13.00 per adult and $11.00 per child if purchased online.
- Lunch (free if you bring your own to eat in the park, or the cost of purchasing one)
Transportation: You may also drive your own vehicle. It is approximately 1 hour and 22 minutes to Holland.
If you need transportation, it is important to make your reservation as soon as possible since there are limited seats available. Please note on the sign-up sheet(click) how you plan to get there.
